FEQHA European Championship of American Quarter Horses at Kreith / Germany, August 8 – 15, 2021
With European Youth und Amateur Team Cup / new: Covid-Trail and Covid-Pleasure

Finally the time has come: one of the most beautiful Quarter Horse events in Europe casts its shadow ahead: the European Championship of American Quarter Horses invites the best horses and riders from all over Europe to a 4-fold AQHA show in Kreuth from August 8 to 15, 2021. This time the show management is again in the proven hands of Renate Gruber and Rainer Maierhofer, who had already been in charge of the European Championship for more than ten years in the past.

For optimal preparation, paid warm ups will be offered on Saturday, August 7. The European Championship will begin on Sunday, August 8 with the Green and Novice classes in preparation for the Go Round. The European Champions in the Halter classes will be determined on Monday and Tuesday. There will be no finals here - the results will be determined from the four judges' scores. In the Performance classes. exhibitors qualify their horses for the finals from Monday to Thursday via the 4-fold AQHA show. The finals will follow from Friday to Sunday (August 13 to 15) - the judging will then be done by three judges. All European Champions will receive, among other things, a European Champion blanket and a newly designed buckle.

The FEQHA European Youth and Amateur Team Cup will also be held as part of the European Championships, with teams competing in eight classes. To protect the horses, the Cup classes will be held Class in Class in the 4-fold AQHA show of the European Championships. The winning teams will receive beautiful Ellen Welten trophies.

The European Championships 2021 also offer a novelty: Thanks to the sponsoring of the Singularity Group, there will be a 2,500 Euro Covid Trail and a Covid Pleasure, also endowed with 2,500 Euro. Both classes will take place on Saturday evening. Since one has to protect oneself in Covid times, the participants will of course ride in appropriate protective gear to suitable music.

The show will be judged by Sylvia Katschker (AUT), Vreni Schmid (SUI), Ricky Bordignon (ITA) and Cedric Leroux (BEL). The European Championships will be broadcast via livestream.
