31st FEQHA European Championship of Quarter Horses:
Marko Kaiser‘s COVID-Trail and COVID Western Pleasure classes enthusiastically received

"Let's bring in some more fun towards the end of the show and tone down the after-show blues that come when we leave on Sunday" - that was the idea of EC‘s main sponsor Marko Kaiser. The result: a COVID Trail class and a COVID Western Pleasure class, which will be held on Saturday evening (August 14) of the European Championship in Kreuth and will be endowed with EUR 2,500 each. With this, he and his wife Judith hit exactly the right nerve: 27 participants are entered in the Trail, 17 in the Western Pleasure. A great success!

The riders have to wear a COVID outfit provided by the organizer, i.e. mask and protective suit. Besides the prize money there is a beautiful trophy to win. For the trail, the riders can choose their own music. And speaker Boris Kook has already announced that he wants to present the two classes in the arena in a COVID outfit.

The show management would like to thank Marko Kaiser and his wife Judith. The two have been breeding American Quarter Horses for 20 years, and very successfully so. Among other things, Judith was Intermediate Rookie of the Year in 2017. In addition, their mares Dont Eat The Daisies and Move Over Darling stood Grand Champion several times and were DQHA Int. German Champions. In 2020, the Kaisers provided the DQHA Champion of Champions with the colt they bred, Typical Male.

The 31st FEQHA European Championship of American Quarter Horses will be held in Kreuth, Germany, August 8-15, 2021. There will be 4 AQHA shows for Open, Amateur, Select and Youth and 2 AQHA shows for L1 Open, Amateur and Youth, plus the European Amateur Team Cup, European Youth Team Cup and the NSBA of Germany Futurity 2020 & 2021 as well as the COVID Trail Class & COVID Western Pleasure Class.

A special feature: From August 8 to 10, AQHA Director of International Affairs Sierra Kane will be in Kreuth with her team and will offer a membership service. Among other things, interested parties can have a transfer of ownership of a horse performed here for only $25 per horse.

All information can be found at A detailed hygiene concept as well as further show info will be published on the homepage about two weeks before the show.
