Participants from European National Teams expressed in 2010 the wish to have the opportunity of earning AQHA points when taking part in the European Team Cups. This is not possible due to the lack of open participation on selected teams.

The solution was to organise an open AQHA approved point giving show immediately prior to the European Team Cups.

FEQHA has named this show The FEQHA International Challenge Show and the first of its kind will take place in Lier, Belgium 2011 one day prior to the Youth and Amateur Team Cups.
